This was my first purchase of Solid toothpaste and I wanted to try the cinnamon flavoured toothpaste but the reviews of the orange flavour made me want to try that one too. I was also not sure if I really needed the scoop. Then I found the starter pack and it was perfect, I could try both flavours and get the scoop for free!
I’d definitely recommend this bundle for people new to Solid toothpaste as the scoop makes it so much easier to get the right amount of toothpaste out of the jar and onto your toothbrush. Plus you get to try two different flavours and it’s nice to have a choice when you brush your teeth.

I love this toothpaste that isn’t a paste! I bought the starter pack and it’s great. And if I hadn’t bought the starter pack I would never, ever have tried the strawberry flavour, which sounds like a bubblegum flavour, but isn’t – it’s delicious. Not sweet and just lovely!

My daughter bought the cinnamon one for me. After using it for a week, I had tons of ulcers under and at the edge of my tongue. It was painful to speak and to eat. The ulcers went away a week after I stopped using it. While I cannot prove anything, it seems too much of a coincidence. Perhaps there are some ingredients in it I am allergic to; or maybe it was contaminated.

I love this product but strange things happen after the jar is 1/4 empty. Like … if it was not a person who values quality and $$ worth for penny.. I would literally scoop the last quarter out and let it be… BUT seriously after spending many hours reading this website story etc.. something is amiss.
It is like … they must not listen to customer feedback. The product sucks in the last 1/4 left .. it is all dry… and essentially (useless). if that is normal, then say it. Do not hide behind marketing guff and what not. Be real. Be genuine. Just in case they do their normal distasteful come back, yes we did follow the instructions and relid-ed the product each and every time (very tedious.. but we did it).
This is a great product but something is amiss.

I got the sensitive mint… I’m a little sad that sensitive comes only in mint and that lemon is only extra flouride. Love orange and strawberry, cinnamon is ok was looking forward to trying lemon

Extremely disappointed . This is oral hygiene product and there is ability to see if the product has been tampered or used. My orange jar of toothpaste came with a big spoonful out. No amount of marketing guff reassures customer this is how it is meant to be. Customer Service need to have hard look at their responses around QA. I purchased 4 pots and this is the only one with big spoonful out. What has errked me the most is the support reply “nothing we can do – it is what it is”. WRONG. It is UNACCEPTABLE to dispatch a product, any product, let alone an oral hygiene product with a big dollop out. It is out right ridiculous to think it is OK to do that. Especially with no tamper proof. Process gaps and mistakes happen. Daft customer service replies are simply not acceptable. They only serve to undermine a business credibility. After this experience, the Solid team and the product cannot be trusted.

Kia ora, as discussed our jars are filled by weight and if a filled jar is overweight some product will be removed during manufacturing with a type of knife scoop to bring its weight inline. Please rest assured we are a small business who manufactures in house – all jars sent to our customers come directly from our in-house manufacturing space and we have stringent QC measures in place. Hopefully in the future we will move to a more advanced production line for filling so the surface of every toothpaste jar looks identical. Thank you for giving us a go.
